Peelaway 1 Paint Stripper 5KG

Contains: Instructions, Application Tool, sufficient Peel Away 1 Blankets and Neutraliser.

Peel Away 1 is comprised of a ready mixed paste to be spread over the painted surface. The Peel Away blanket is then laid over the paste to delay the drying process and extend the active time of the product. After 12-24 hours the blanket can be removed. The surface should be washed down with the supplied neutraliser.

This product is suitable for removing older paint. It is particularly suitable for detailed, ornate and intricate surfaces inlcuding carvings, plasterwork, woodwork and ironwork.

Coverage: The amount of Peel Away 1 needed for a project depends on type and thickness of paint. As a rule of thumb, 1kg of Peel Away 1 covers 1.0SqMtr at 1-2mm thickness. Generally a thickness of 1-3mm will be required, therefore 15kg = 10-15SqMtr

Please note: You should use Peelaway 7 on Hardwoods, Stone, Marble and Aluminium substrates to minimise the risk of damage and discolouration. Also use Peel Away 7 on more modern oil or water-based paints including masonry paint.
