The paint was purchased and received in very short time. Great service including the email discussion before hand on sourcing the shade I require.

Advantages: As ever the paint is of a very good strength of pigment and applies by brush beautifully leaving a very good paint finish.

Great product, works really well to strip old paint from cast iron. I put two coats on and virtually all of the paint had bubbled off. I wasn't sure how well it would work considering this was probably 60 year old tough machine paint but worked great!

Advantages: Works well for stripping cast iron and steel

Disadvantages: Quite pricey for how much you use but saves hours of wire wheel work!

I initially bought the gloss paint but after a painting quite a few of the components I decided it was just too glossy for a lathe. I then purchased the Satin version thinking that would be more like the original - the colour difference between the 2 was quite distinct with the gloss being much darker and the satin with more of a brown / green (yes both stirred very well!). Both paints in isolation would work well, the fact that i had them side by side makes the colour difference stand out - neither really match the original but i guess that is 40 years old. In the end i decided the Satin was too matt and have settled for a 50:50 mix of both - very nice....

Just the right colour I was after to refurbish a knackered bench grinder, looks like new now.

Advantages: The paint leaves a v.good finish and sprays from the tin no problems at all. V.good coverage and no runs, dries touch dry within a couple of hours which is a bonus. I don't expect I could have found anything better tbh.

Disadvantages: None, well maybe the postage is a bit expensive but it is delivered V.quickly.

Having painted a sample of the paint upon a test piece I can vouch that the paint brushes nicely, and levels out to leave a uniform flat coating. The pigment content is very good that even after one coat the colour density is solid. - Nice Paint :)

Seems very good. Pretty much covers bare metal in one coat. Goes on easily. Hope it stays on as well as it goes on!

Purchased Bridgeport paint a couple of years ago and it’s still good after being in constant contact with coolant.
