Excellent quality paint, Lots of choice of colours,I would recommend this product for anyone doing rebuilds or repainting any Machinery. I bought this for a Myford Lathe rebuild . Wouldn't use any other product. First time i have used it Bought a second tin, Different Colour for my lathe stand. 500ml tin goes a long way, as it recommends 3 coats give a nice thick coating. Used a quality long Bristle brush to keep brush marks to a minimum , Need not of worried took my time and brush marks were minimal .

Advantages: Hard wearing excellent for heavy duty Machinery, and workshop, Spoiled for choice when it comes to Colour, Easy to apply, well worth the wait between coats for it to dry. Rubbed down between coats to achieve a great finish. . Superb Finish

Lockdown prompts the jobs you would not normally do such as refurbishing my 50 odd G-Cramps after 40 years of use.

Advantages: Two coats of Roundel Blue covered well leaving an as new finish which seems to be stand the normal knocks of use without chipping. Very pleased with this product.

Used Paragon primer on castings. Next day used Myford green with brush. Lovely smooth gloss finish as if sprayed. Parts looked as if they came from Myford. Marvellous!

Using a quality brush good prep and a warm day the finish was excellent.

Absolutely beautiful paint to work with, the best I have ever used.

Advantages: Levels out to a beautiful finish.

Platinum grey is a neutral-balance light/mid grey. Darker than a silver grey and contrasts well with either pale grey or graphite grey.

Advantages: It brushes well straight from the can. After a few hours I mix in a small amount of thinners to compensate for evaporation and keep it spreading well. 2 coats covers just about any base colour and becomes really tough after a few days.

Paragon enamels are my go-to paints for workshop machinery.

Disadvantages: Expect to apply 2-3 thinner coats rather than one thick one otherwise you’ll get runs and curtains.

I used this to paint a set of 6 Dexion shelves used this colour as it looked a good match and can use any leftovers on my Harrison lathe, used less that half of the 500ml tin slightly thinned with the PT8 thinners and used a foam roller to apply, result was perfect they are old shelves but proved the paint is good. I will be buying more to use on my pre-war MG which I have started to restore so plenty of black required for the chassis and underside bits and pieces.

Colour not quite accurate enough for my Record bench plane. Will have to tweak the paint for correct colour match.

Bought this for a barbecue - goes on really well (sprayed direct onto aluminium) and covers nicely although you'll probably need a couple of cans to do one barbecue (I used two good deep coats).

Overall I'm really pleased - it's a good colour and finish. Around the really hot parts of the barbecue it has discoloured slightly - not very noticeable but definitely there - but these are the bits by the gas burners where things are probably 400-500C. On the rest of the barbecue where things will be more like 200-300C it's absolutely fine - this after four months and perhaps 20 times used.

Advantages: Easy to apply, good colour and medium-silk-gloss finish.
