Paint, primer and brush cleaner all arrived very quickly and very well packed. Waiting for weather improvement before use.

The paint was (I feel) required to give the engine a well deserved `a bit of a lift` as for years `she` has remained, dirty, drab and neglected.
So, the only parts to be so treated are `her` cross-head castings, Eccentric straps and the cross cylinder oil reservoir set at the rear of this engine. The engine being a twin cylinder (dual) vertical steam engine of unknown lineage, however the vertical mainframe casting states this was a Ruston - Procter product, possibly of pre 1918 origin.

Advantages: I liked both applying the primer and top coat via brush, it applied easily and I always apply a thinned 60/40 primer first coat.
When applying the top coat one can (well I can) `feel` when one dragging the paint and not applying it.
Good paint and know doubt I will if requiring any further colours contact Paragon Enamel paint.

Disadvantages: The only disadvantage and I am yet to reach get there is when the tin is empty and all one requires are a couple more brushfuls !!!

First class paint product, forget using cheaper products.

Advantages: Easy to apply, great coverage not as watery or thick as some paints.

Disadvantages: A little pricey with the postage but worth it.

Great paint to use. Its made my Myford lathe look like new.

Advantages: Good coverage and dries well.

Disadvantages: None

Had my doubts but I found that this is a brilliant paint to work with. Fantastic coverage and at the right price.

Advantages: Truth is I am not a good painter ( very much in the style of Picasso ) didn't have to worry it went on well.

I use this as LNER Doncaster Green. The finish is mirror like. I tend to thin more than the recommended but the flow properties are very good.

Advantages: Heat resistant so fine for live steam locos. Dries to a very hard wearing surface.

Disadvantages: None.

I don’t normally write reviews but this paint is amazing. I restored my grandads record vice which he took off a WW2 aircraft carrier, first time round I just used any old blue paint but this time I got this and wow... easy to apply... great colour... rock hard when dry it’s amazing!

Advantages: Colour intensity. Ease of use

I sprayed the enamel onto my machine parts directly onto bare metal and the finish is superb. I had to finish off the inner side of some parts the following day and decided not to set up the spray gun and compressor for such a small amount. I used a brush and ended up with a spray quality finish. The gloss is amazing.

Advantages: Long wet edge giving great results even when brushing.

This is second time I bought brushing enamel from Paragon Paints. Very happy with this more traditional paint. Used this green colour to renovate a garage door.
Covers really well, no brush strokes left, looks like it has been sprayed, but is a thicker finish. Paint delivered in 2 days despite Covid-19.
Would highly recommend.
