A fast drying, spray quality Polyvinyl butral, ortho-phosphoric acid self etching primer for application to steel and aluminium. Good heat resistance and available in three colours which are able to withstand temperatures up to 200ºC.

Can be over coated with a wide range of top coats but works especially well with our range of Paragon Enamels and is essential when painting onto non ferrous metallic substrates.
 
It can be brushed on straight from the can but best results are achieved by spray application when thinned with Paragon PT3 thinner.

Ideal for heavy duty vehicle finishing, tractors, stationary engines, narrow boats, workshop machinery and marine applications as well as for vehicle repair work and sign writing.

Touch dry:- 20 minutes, Firm dry:- 1 Hour @ 20ºC.
Thinners:- Paragon PT3 thinner.
Over coating:- Within 24 hours.
Coverage:- 10-12 Square metres per litre.
Film thickness:- DFT.12-15 microns per application
Temp Resistance:- 200ºC.
Storage:- 12 months in original sealed containers.

I have used paragon paints for some time now for many uses from the garden swing to model steam engines. Never had a problem with these paints.

Advantages: The advantage is that I cannot find a disadvantage!
