VHT Paint - 400°C Heat Resistant Aluminium

Paragon Paints heat resistant Aluminium is a Silicone alkyd Aluminium high quality synthetic heat resistant finish able to withstand up to 400ºC. 

Ideal for use in high temperature applications such as the finishing of surfaces exposed to higher than normal operating temperatures like exhausts and manifolds, ideal for tractors, stationary engines, narrow boats, workshop machinery and marine applications.

• High solids content.
• Brush or spray application.
• Excellent water resistance, flexibility and exterior durability.

Apply by brush or spray to a wet film thickness of 80 microns to achieve a dry film thickness of 20 microns. The addition of up to 10% Paragon synthetic PT8 thinner may be required to give optimum spray characteristics.

Touch dry:- 2 Hours. Firm dry:- 6 Hours, Overcoat:- Overnight.
Thinners:- TBA
Over coating:- After 12 hours.
Film thickness:- 80 microns WFT gives approximately 20 microns DFT.
Temp Resistance:- 400ºC.
Storage:- 12 months in original sealed containers.
