Paragon Paints Stoving Enamel is a Modified alkyd melamineultra high quality synthetic heat curing enamel finish which is used in preference to normal commercially available enamels for high temperature work of the highest standard.

Ideal for finishing of surfaces exposed to higher than normal operating temperatures such as exhaust and manifolds, ideal for tractors, stationary engines, narrow boats, workshop machinery and marine applications.

  • Resistant to up to 240ºC
  • High solids content.
  • Brush or spray application.
  • Provides good build and scratch filling properties.
  • Very good resistance to oils, fats, and cutting fluids, which makes it an ideal choice for all types of workshop machinery.
  • Excellent water resistance, flexibility and exterior durability.

Touch dry:- 2 Hours. Firm dry:- once stoved at 140ºC for 20 minutes.
Thinners:- Paragon Synthetic PT3
Over coating:- Within 30 minutes or after 16 hours.
Film thickness:- 100 microns WFT gives approximately 50 microns DFT.
Temp Resistance:- 240ºC.
Storage:- 12 months in original sealed containers.

For application to non ferrous metals it is recommended to prime the substrate with the Paragon VHT etch primer first.
