RAL 2005 Fluorescent Orange

Paragon fluorescent enamel paints are available in the following systems : Synthetic, Acrythane, Cellulose & LMP (Water-borne) but are only available in synthetic via the website, for other systems please contact us. 

A full range of fluorescent pigments are held in stock including: Fire Orange, Blaze, Rocket Red, Saturn Yellow, Signal Green, Horizon Blue and Aurora Pink.

In order to achieve full fluorescent effects it is recommended that fluorescent finishes are applied over a dense white primer, undercoat or basecoat.

All the fluorescent colours available dry down to a semi-matt type finish due to the pigment being a powder based product. For exterior use or to achieve a gloss finish it is recommended to over coat with Paragon ultra clear UV resistant lacquer.

Paragon fluorescent enamel paints are used in preference to normal commercially available paints for decorative work of the highest standard. Ideal for hazard warning zones, workshop machinery moving parts and marine applications as well as for general health and safety hazard awareness and sign writing.

• High solids content.
• Brush or spray application but best results are achieved with the fluorescent colours when applied by spray.
• Good build and scratch filling properties.
• Very good resistance to oils, fats, and cutting fluids, which makes it an ideal choice for all types of workshop machinery.
• Excellent water resistance and flexibility when over coated with Paragon ultra clear UV resistant lacquer.
• Touch dry:- 2 Hours. Firm dry:- 6 Hours. Hard dry:- 12 Hours, @ 20ºC.
• Thinners:- Fully synthetic PT8.
• Over coating:- After 16 hours.
• Film thickness:- 100 microns WFT gives approximately 50 microns DFT.
• Temp Resistance:- 170ºC.
• Storage:- 12 months in original sealed containers.
